Thanks a latte!

Hi everyone, today  I'm sharing  a thank you card I made with the "Love You a Latte" cricut cartridge. This cartridge was released last month . I was REALLY excited about this one since I drink a lot of coffee and the images on this cartridge are super cute. I was trying to wait for the new releases to come to Walmart, but I've heard many rumors that Walmart is no longer going to carry cricut products, so I ordered Love You a Latte offline
So here's my card..
 card: is 5''x6.5''
latte: 6''

The flowers (PAGODA CARTRIDGE) were cut a 1.5'' and 1''

The sentiment came from a coffee themed set by Fiskars.

That's all for today, until next time Happy crafting!

Christmas in July.

After seeing everyone else's Christmas in July crafts I figured I had to make something of my own. About a week ago I ordered some holiday-.ish stamps from The Greeting Farm and I just recieved them. The set I ordered is called "I heart sweaters"

And here's my Christmas card...

The paper I used is specialty paper from K &Company, and the circle for this card was cut at 5''. Im still working on mastering copic markers, for now I'm using colored pencils to color in my stamps. The sentiment says "you warm my heart".

It's hard to tell, but I flocked her scarf and both of their mittens with Martha Stewart "ladybug" flocking powder. This set is one if my favorites from The Greeting Farm I think Ian and Anya look absolutely adorable and like they're ready for the holidays. (Just in case you're not familiar with The Greeting Farm stamps I did not give them names, they come with them :)

Well that's it for today, until next tim Happy Crafting

Seamless Experience

I've been absent for a little while due to computer trouble, but the good news is that I'm back! :) Last week I purchased the "seamless experience" stamp set by Tim Holtz, mainly because I absolutely love the dress form. I've spent weeks trying to refrain from buying it, just because I already have SO much stuff, but as you see Tim got the best of me... again.

So I made a card using all of the stamps in this set.

This card was super simple. To make sure the skirt would fit properly I stamped the image onto the cardstock and then on patterned paper and trimmed it just enough to make a mini skirt. Then I added some studs to what would be her waistline, and the corners of the card. And of course, I had to dirty the edges up with my Walnut Stain distress ink. :)

I think it came out fabulous, chances are you'll be seeing alot of this set in my projects.
Well that's it for today, until next time Happy Crafting!

Never to old for a cupcake.

Happy Monday everyone! I've been posting a lot less than I did when I first started this blog, simply becasue I've been getting really busy. Today's post is going to be short, I have a birthday card to share with you. I found these really nice cupcake inkadinkado cling stamps, on sale for a little over $2.

I decided to try something different  and used a corner rounder only to round the opposite corners of the card. For some reason I relate the effect the corner rounder created and the icing on the cupcake in the middle, together I think it's a nice touch. It's a little hard to tell from the photo, but I added perfect pearls to the flower and  red Martha Stewart micro beads on the cherry on the cupcakes.

Inside the card says " Never to old for a cupcake".
Well that's all for today. Until next time, Happy crafting!

The Greeting Farm

Hi everyone, I hope you had a great 4th of July! I recently discovered the Greeting Farm stamps and it's pretty safe to say that im addicted! ( My wishlist is growing out of control lol) Last month they opened the Farmers Market (where several discontinued items resurface for a VERY limited time) and I was lucky enough to get my hands on the "Me Time" stamp set for $12 before it was sold out.
I made a really simple easel card using this set.

I used the Martha Stewart Cherish punch all around the page. I just got this punch last week, I absolutely loved the way it looked, but since the dots are so tiny its a little tougher than it looks to line them up.  It took a few tries to get the punch to work properly. The flower was handmade and inked with black ink around the edges.

I also used white Liquid Pearls to accent some of the bubbles, and tiny buttons for the corners.

Well that's all for today. Here's the link for The Greeting Farm http://thegreetingfarm.com/
