Mon Amour

Hey everybody! It seems like my summer vacation ended just as soon as it really started. Getting back into the swing of school has kept me away from my blog, I am still adjusting to my new schedule but I'm back now :) Today I have a layout  that I made using the sentimentals cartridge to share with you. I've had this cartridg for a while now, and I figured it was time to put it to good use.

I used a gold gel pen as well as glossy accents to embellish the phrase.

Most of the die cuts for this page came from sentimentals, but the flower was cut from cricut cake cartridge (Elegant Cakes). I cut the flowers at various sizes and then inked the edges with Tim Holtz victorian velvet distress ink. I also used the Musical Flourish Cuttlebug embossing folder and curled the edges of the flower upward.
